Join Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours, as we ride through the Wine Country during the Santa Barbara County Vintner’s Wine Festival weekend. Enjoy many of your favorite wines and taste some of the new varietals from the Fall Harvest.
 Your cycling vacation includes deluxe accommodations, gourmet dining & a wine tasting dinner. This guided cycling vacation will also include local cycling tours each day, plus attendance to the Santa Barbara County Vintner’s Festival weekend events.

The annual Santa Barbara County Vintners' Festival attracts wine lovers from all over to meet member vintners, taste their wines, and enjoy great food and music in a festive outdoor environment. Each member winery is there to pour a selection of their fine wines, as well as local restaurants & caterers whom offer exquisite samples of their food, serenaded by live music. DAY ONE: Thursday, April 17th
Solvang Arrival / Afternoon of Cycling
 Upon your arrival in Solvang and check in at your hotel, we will begin introductions about the details of your cycling vacation.
Locale: Solvang
Accommodations: Hadsten House
Ride: Ballard Canyon / Los Olivos
Level: Easy to mod., rolling hills (14-25 mile)
Highlights: Introductions & Spectacular Cycling
Group Dinner: Trattoria Grappolo in Santa Ynez
Today’s introductory ride will depart from Solvang and into the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley We will pass by the Old Mission Santa Ynez, apple farms and miniature horses en route to the quaint town of Los Olivos. We will continue through Ballard Canyon, with your first glimpse of the wine country. After a few short rolling hills, we will arrive back to at the Hadsten House in Solvang. Option for additional mileage.

DAY TWO: Friday, April 10th
Cycling thru Foxen Canyon & Gourmet Picnic Lunch at Rancho Sisquoc
 Locale: Solvang
Accommodations: Hadsten House
Ride: Foxen Canyon to Rancho Sisquoc
Level: Moderate, Rolling hills (35-45 mile)
Highlights: Cycling, Gourmet Lunch & wine tasting.
Group Dinner: Wine Tasting Dinner
Today’s ride will begin along the rolling foothills of Los Olivos. We will continue through the bucolic countryside of Foxen Canyon past vineyards with views of majestic mountain tops before we arrive at the Rancho Sisquoc Winery for gourmet picnic lunch & Wine Tasting. Option for additional mileage.

DAY THREE: Saturday, April 19th
Cycling thru Santa Rita Hills & Santa Barbara Vintners’ Festival
Locale: Solvang
Accommodations: Hadsten House Inn & Spa
Ride: Santa Rosa Road
Level: Moderate, Rolling hills (20-30 mile)
Highlights: Cycling & Santa Barbara County
Vintners’ Festival
Group Dinner: Mattei’s Tavern in Los Olivos
Our ride heads west today through the Santa Rita Hills, home to many of the best Pinot Noir in the area.
As we ride along the Santa Rosa River, we will pass vineyards and bountiful walnut orchards. We will arrive at the Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Festival at Riverview Park. A shuttle vehicle will bring a change of clothes, before we begin sampling many of the best wines, while enjoying live music in a festival environment. We will return back to Solvang via Shuttle.

DAY FOUR: Sunday, April 20th
Santa Barbara Vintner’s Festival Events & Hotel Checkout

Vintner’s Festival Winery Events
Today we will opt for a morning checkout, followed by Sunday brunch at the Hadsten House.
 We’ll leave our bikes and cycling shoes behind, as we board a shuttle vehicle to several member wineries for Santa Barbara County Festival Winery Events. After visiting participating wineries in the early afternoon, we will say our final farewells as we pack up and shuttle to Santa Barbara.
Transfer from Hotel to Santa Barbara Airport & Villa de Rosa Inn in Santa Barbara.
Note: Prior arrangements will be made with Dr. Js Bicycle Shop for those who wish to ship their bicycles.

A $400 deposit per person is required to guarantee a spot on the trip. This amount is refundable up to 45 days, less an administration fee of $100 per person.
