Join Santa Barbara Wine Country Cycling Tours as we ride through the Wine Country during the Santa Barbara County Harvest Festival weekend. Enjoy many of your favorite wines and taste some of the new varietals from the Fall Harvest.
 Your cycling vacation includes deluxe accommodations and gourmet dining. This guided cycling vacation will also include a local cycling tour each day, plus attendance at Santa Barbara County Harvest Festival weekend events at the Rancho Sisqouc Winery.
Join us in this exclusive guided tour from October 7-9, at a time of the year when the vineyards are beginning to turn with hues of deep oranges and reds, surrounded by golden rolling hillsides and age-old Valley Oak trees.
The annual Santa Barbara County Harvest Festival attracts wine and food lovers alike from all over to meet member vintners, taste their wines, and enjoy great food and music in a festive outdoor environment. Each member winery pours a selection of their fine wines, and local restaurants and caterers as guests are serenaded by live music. The Festival also features a silent auction of large format wines, special bottlings, varietals and lifestyle items, all benefiting local charities.

DAY ONE: Friday, October 7th
Solvang Arrival / Afternoon of Cycling
Upon your arrival in Solvang check in at your hotel.

Ride: Optional Afternoon cycling tour to Ballard Canyon /Los Olivos

Trattoria Grappolo in Santa Ynez
Today's introductory ride will depart from Solvang and wind into the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. We will pass by the Old Mission Santa Ynez, apple farms, and miniature horses en route to the quaint town of Los Olivos. We will continue through Ballard Canyon, your first glimpse of the wine country. After a few short rolling hills, we will arrive back to at the Hadsten House Inn in Solvang. Option for additional mileage.

DAY TWO: Saturday, October 8th
 Cycling Through Foxen Canyon
& Santa Barbara Harvest Festival
Locale: Solvang /Santa Ynez

Ride: Foxen Canyon to Rancho Sysquoc
Level: Easy, Rolling hills (20 to 25 mi.)

Cycling and Santa Barbara Harvest Festival.
Dinner: On your own; recommendations and reservations are available.
Days Event: Today you will bike along the rolling foothills of Los Olivos. We will pass cattle ranches and meander our way through the Los Olivos Wine Trail along the Sysquoc River Valley before we arrive at Rancho Sysquoc Winery for the Santa Barbara Wine Harvest Festival. Shuttle service back to Solvang is provided.

You will be driven out to several different wineries for exclusive wine tastings,
 After breakfast in Solvang we'll leave our bikes and cycling shoes and board a shuttle vehicle to several member wineries for Santa Barbara County Harvest Festival winery events. After visiting participating wineries in the early afternoon, we will say our final farewells and pack up.
Optional shuttle to Santa Barbara.
Note: Prior arrangements will be made with Dr. J’s Bicycle Shop in Solvang for those wishing to ship their bicycles.
