The cycling routes listed below are easily customized to the ability level of your group. Please call our office to discuss other route options if you're not sure these will be the right fit. We can accommodate the distance and difficulty to any expertise.
Day 1, Sunday
Santa Barbara Arrival & Santa Ynez Afternoon
Route: Easy; accessible to all riders
Miles: 15-25; 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
 Your cycling getaway begins in the Danish town of Solvang with choice accommodations at the Hadsten House Inn & Spa, a favorite among visiting cyclists. Following introductions and bike-fitting at our shop in Santa Ynez, you'll enjoy an afternoon ride through the heart of the valley to the small town of Los Olivos. Take in the sights of bountiful vineyards, a lavender farm, and orchards along the way. Dinner recommendations available.
Day 2, Monday
Happy Canyon
Route: Moderate; accessible to all riders with options for climbing
Miles: 20-30; 9:00 am – 1:30 pm
 After a wonderful hotel breakfast at the Inn, meet at our location to meet your guide and preview today's route. You'll ride to the eastern hills and Happy Canyon Road and enjoy breathtaking vistas of majestic mountain tops and oak-studded rolling hills before arriving at a favorite local vineyard where you are served a delightful gourmet picnic lunch.
Our now-famous lunches are served on cloaked tables overlooking vineyards or nestled in more intimate settings. You will be served some of our favorite local foods served with flatware and glassware. Wine tasting follows your leisurely lunch before we make the short return trip to our shop. Dinner recommendations available.
Day 3, Tuesday
 Breakfast & Goodbyes
Following another breathtaking sunrise and a plentiful gourmet breakfast, our journey through the Santa Barbara wine country comes to a close.
Bid farewell to your newfound friends until next time.
